~memorial day weekend~

So for the weekend, we brought jennifer and we went with the Johnsons, their two boys (Rhees and Alex) and their two friends (Ethan and Matt). It was the funnest trip I have ever been on. It was a blast and I cannot put into words how amazing it was. From tennis in the pouring rain, to intense games of foosball, rock band, crazy golf cart driving, watching 24, bike rides, golfing, volleyball, exciting card games, terrifying walks in pitch black night, and a bunch of other fun stuff. It was a BLAST! Me and Jennifer also are in love with two of the guys... Jennifer and Ethan, and me and Rhees. Rhees is so amazing, sweet, and funny. We held hands, and went on a ride together on a four-wheeler, and yeah, it was awesome. <3

We got 2 fifths, 2 thirds, 1 second, and Reserve Champion! =] Tori and Jade did amazing in their classes too and so did Meg and Jazzy. Denise was obviously amazing with both Jeremy and Jazzy too. Also Ellyne and I had a great time showing together in the Medium Stirrup division and she did great with Jeremy! I can't wait for show next weekend! =D

What's Crackalackin'

So, lately my whole life has basically been tennis... mondays, tuesdays, thursdays, fridays, saturdays, and sundays. It's been great and I've improved a lot. I got invited to a special group on Saturdays before my matches and I'm very happy about that. I love Roeland a ton, and yeah, I've won every single one of my tennis matches, so I guess you can call me undeafeted, haha but so tennis is going great. also, lately I've been practicing the piano a lot more, actually cleaning my room, and stuff, lol, trying to "raise the bar" so I can start leasing Jake in April for the shows and stuff, and I will do anything to be able to spend more time riding and with horses... and I just love him so much! He's the sweetest horseh ever! =D
Video clip from my lesson today (March 16, 2009) on Jacob... my first ride in the outdoor arena at my new barn, its pretty awesome and amazing how time goes by... I was going to upload more, but it takes WAY too long. haha.

yo yo yo =P

So, on Friday I had another great day at the barn, it was a ton of fun, and I finally got my parents to agree to let me lease Jake during the show season, and hopefully after that they will see how much I appreciated it and let me lease during the fall and winter too... we'll have to see. We saw Steve and his girlfriend, Sam, at Cafe Rio afterwards and wow, they looks so so so cute together! Then Jennifer came with me to my recital for extra credit in show choir... the recital went pretty well, me, alexis, cami, and jenn sat on the stairs and had a great time, haha... good times. I did fairly well, but definitely not my best... Lexi and Jenn got me laughing so hard, oh my gosh, it was so embarrassing, but hey, it was fun, lol. After the recital, me, jenn, and julie hung out and went to a late night movie. it was a ton of fun!

Then Saturday, after my mom yanked me out of bed to go to the Eccles to play tennis (I won her again even though I was half asleep, haha), Me and Jenn went up to a Deer Valley to like a million dollar condo to babysit for my uncle and some of his friends while they went out and partied, haha... we watched ten 6 and 7 year old girls... haha, one being my hilarious little cousin, Gracie. It was a lot of fun and we got paid very nicely, haha... =D "those are as big as my hands!" hahahahaha... good times.

.match outcomes.

Tennis matches tonight went great! We played against the Park City Team. The first hour I played singles and I won 5 to 4. Then the second hour I played doubles with Lizzie and we won 7 to 5. It was awesome and a ton of fun coming away with only minor injuries this time, haha... Yay! =D
Then this video is of me and Jake... I made it earlier today while I had nothing to do since everyone was at play practice... if you want to see clearer footage scroll down to "Awesomeness"...

.:*~awesomeness~*:.

There is not a care in the world when I'm on my horse's back.

Thursday; a piece of my artwork is at the city library at the moment. thursday was the reception and I had to go, and then jenn and carolyn came for extra credit. it was pretty cool. after the reception we went to Redmango, yummy! Then we dropped Carolyn off and me and my motha came home with jennifer and we got to see her adorable new toy poodle puppy, Cassie... she is the cutest thing ever! (2nd to buddy of course). me and jenn hung out till around 11:30pm, haha... fun stuff, but the morning came really fast. I also had the best time ever at tennis... I was so amazing! It felt so good to be the superstar again. lol.

Friday (today): School was pretty fun today, i guess. Jenn went home sick and so I stayed after school to finish my art project and to get hers sprayed and stuff. Then we went to the barn, and oh my heck, it was so awesome! I did so well tonight, it was not even funny. Jake was awesome, Denise was awesome, everything was perfect. We did a ton of stuff. W/T/C. Sitted trot. trotting crossrails. cantering crossrails and verticals. 2 jump line. purple vertical. then put it altogether for a really fun course. I am just loving my new barn, Denise, Jake, and everything more than anything! =D I am seriously in heaven.

Don't forget our mascot; Butch! =P
Tomorrow (Saturday): Tennis match is against Park City Team... wish me and the rest of the CMTA team good luck... right now we are undefeated... lets keep the winning streak going! =D

Whoa and Aww

Today at school during the last like 20 minutes of the social, me and Jenn snuck out and went to the bathroom... my elp sub was watching us and kinda following us, lol... When we got in the bathroom we both went in the same stall and closed to door (only to use her cell phone to call my mom)... we were facing each other, giggling, and had had to just barely snap shut the cell because a teacher came in... not the sub we were laughing about, but a real teacher, haha, im not going to say who. You can probably imagine that the sight she saw of two pairs of shoes in the same stall with laughing might have made her a little freaked out, lol.... she screams, "Ladies!", we both walk out and there is the most awkward silence ever... haha, while jenn is washing her hands i couldn't help but burst out in laughter, haha... we ended up going to back to the dance then later as we walk past her classroom she just stares at us with the most horrified look, haha.. it was pretty funny. I also decorated Jenn's locker for Valentine's Day, and if i might add, it turned out pretty well.

jenn's locker
Then later after hanging out with Jennifer, me, and my aunt and uncle went to my third Cliff Eberhardt concert... it was so so so much fun! He played some of my favorite songs the first half of the concert, then after during the break everyone over 21 got drinks, which was everone except me, lol, I got to chat with him for a bit, then for the last half he did some more great songs and a couple really really good new ones. i'm so excited for his new album! I love him so much, he is definitely the best singer/songwriter ever! He has incredible vocals, amazing guitar skills, and he is hilarious. I have all of him albums, lol, so im just a little obsessed, haha... but yeah, I got to kiss him once again! =D It was a blast, and it was great to hear him in person again, he's so incredible!

~Monday~

So, Monday after school we went straight to the barn. It was a ton of fun, and I had a great lesson on Jake. We did a ton of stuff... W/T/C, sitted trot, trot w/o stirrups, flying lead changes, and a small 4-jump course. It was amazingly fun!
After my riding lesson we went to Noodles and Company to meet John, Hanna, and the Cunninghams. Then we went to a movie, Paul Blart; Mall Cop. It was hilarious, and if you haven't seen it yet, you definitely should!

This video clip is from yesterday... my mom used all the battery at the beginning so this is definitely not my best ride, and as you can tell the entry into the purple xrail was not very good and I was supposed to canter after, but anyway... just know that this is not my best... my mom's not also great with the camera, lol.

Friday, February 5, 2009

The barn today was really fun! I rode Jake again, and had an incredibly fun lesson! We did a ton of stuff, and worked on flying lead changes a bit and did a bounce gymnastic... it was a blast! =D Meg wasn't there, but I got to see Amy and Tori and that was fun.
Then yesterday during ELP while we were in the computer lab a girl had a seizure... she dropped off her chair and hit her head really hard... she was shaking, her eyes were rolled up in her head, her body was like crunched and she was vomitting white stuff and blood... it was SO scary! I thought she was going to die! Luckily Mr. Lambson knew what to do and just kept her on her side and then when it was over she fell asleep and he carried her into the office. but yeah, luckily she is alright, but honestly, that was one of the scariest things I have ever seen!

Lip Sync Performance for Parents

Tonight was the lip sync performance thing for the parents... me and jennifer did amazingly well! =D and it was a ton of fun too! I wish we could do it over and over again, it was such a blast! My uncle John was also in town from California and after the performance we went out to eat at Noodles and Company. It was fun to catch up with him and hear about the cousins too. so yeah, that's pretty much it... tomorrow im going to the barn and I might be having a make up piano lesson for the one i missed tonight.

Another Great Day

Jake being camera shy... haha... everytime i was about to take his pic, he turned his head, lol.

So, yesterday we got to the barn around 10:30am and had my lesson on Nikki. She was pretty headstrong today, so we didn't accomplish much. It was still really fun though. Since I hadn't really finished on a positive note with Nikki, Denise let me get Jake out and hack him out for a while. It was a ton of fun, and Meg let me share a little bit of her lesson, so I was able to jump Jake and do a gymnastic on him, which was awesome! It was also really cool to be able to see Meg riding Jazzy, they look incredible together... its like they were made for each other. Then after Meg and I put away Jazzy and Jake, Meg got Copper out and I got some good video footage of them together, he's so cute! So, after hanging out for a while, it was around 4pm, and I had to leave to get ready for my tennis match.

My tennis match was so boring, we played the Wasatch Boys team from like Park City or something, and they all were horrible... The guy I played against, I beat him 17 to 2, and I only lost those 2 games because my serves weren't working out for me at first. After that I came home and just hung out the rest of the night while my parents were at a play with some friends...

Jazzy, the psycho mare =D

Now time for sad news...

Nikki is going out to pasture in Kaysville at her owner's home because her owner isn't really riding her anymore so she obviously decided not to pay the board and stuff while she can just keep her at her house for free... so yesterday was my last time riding her unless we decide to lease or buy her... :(

Yesterday, was also when I said my "official" goodbyes to Jaimy. I took over a gift and a note and grabbed all my stuff (halter, lead, brushes, polos, saddle pad, etc.). I'm going to miss her so so so much! She was my first hunter/jumper trainer, and I learned a ton from her. Some of the best days of my life have been because of her. Like I said, I'm really going to miss her, but my new trainer, Denise, is every bit as amazing, if not more. So, lets just say I traded in something good, for something even better. So, I guess this isn't really sad news, haha...

Also, Denise's mare, Missy has a lymphoma and they are going to draw blood at the vets in a week or two so then she'll decide what stage its at. If its a late stage and she's going to suffer then they'll just put her down. =( She might have about a month or two, maybe more, maybe less. She will be missed by all, she is such an incredible horse!

Lip Sync project - "Something Good"

Well, today in Show Choir, me and Jennifer did our lip sync, haha... It went really well for how little we practiced. The video clip is of one of our rehearsals at my house, and yeah, it was a ton of fun! Right now I'm just about to go to the Eccles to win a couple matches of tennis against my mom, then I'm having a couple of friends come over. I'm uber excited for the barn tomorrow, and I can't wait to see Nikki! =D

Awesome Day at the Barn and Tennis match (jan. 24. 09)

I always have a great time at the barn but yesterday was just so incredible. I had a great lesson on Nikki, whom I'm trying to convince my parents to buy. We did a ton of really fun stuff and then after me and Meg got to chat for a while while we cooled down our horses. After we untacked and Meg put Copper away, we got to hang out while Nikki dried out. Then we took her back out to her stall and fed some of the horses... I got to see Jazzy and she is looking amazing! Even though I wish I could've kept her with me, I'm so glad that Meg bought her. Then of course I had to go...

Then, after me and Jennifer got home from shopping at Fashion Place Mall, I had to go to my tennis match which we thought was at Coach Mike's but was actually at the Salt Lake City Tennis Club... so instead of playing people my age in the 14 and under league, I had to play a girl in the 18 and under league... I didn't do too bad, when we had to stop playing the score was 5 to 6. It was really fun though, and I'm definitely looking forward to my next match.
